About me and my practice
I'm trained to support adults and have a particular interest in life transitions as its how we navigate these that can make all the difference in life. Becoming an adult, changing jobs or careers, having children, seeing them grow and leave home, experiencing the menopause, caring for our loved ones in later life and losing them can take different paths depending on how we view them. These can be more challenging when layering the experience of diversity or difference and importantly the life experiences that are truly individual to us and our families. Counselling can offer a guiding light into clarity at a time when we cannot see as clearly as we once did or how we'd like going forward.
I'm an integratively trained Therapeutic Counsellor, both humanistic and pychodynamic. Centrally I'll offer a Person-Centred approach but draw on Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, CBT and other aspects if it supports positive transition through to your next phase in life.
